A Family's Journey, a Child's Heart
Supporting pediatric cardiac patients at Nemours Children’s Hospital of Delaware with a personal mission of care.
When our child underwent heart surgeries at a young age, we were thrust into a world of constant monitoring. Seeing our little one tethered to bulky telemetry devices and tangled wires was heartbreaking. We quickly realized that the weight of the medical equipment shouldn't steal the simple joys of being a kid.
The idea for Packs 4 Peds came from a simple, desperate need for hands-free freedom. We wanted our child to walk the hospital halls, reach for a toy, and feel a sense of independence, despite the gear. Specialized fanny packs became the bridge between necessary medical care and the freedom to move.
By collaborating with the incredible cardiac unit at Nemours, we now work to ensure that every pediatric heart patient has access to these packs. Our personal experience transformed into a community mission to bring comfort and confidence to every small heart on their recovery journey.
More than just a pack—it's a tool for comfort, independence, and the dignity every child deserves.
